post from yesterday in Big Pontiac Tech !
yesterday i went to S&S a 1 1/2 hr. drive going up the oil pressure stayed 50-55 @ 55-66 mph with the A/C on coming home after 10 min on road it dropped to 40 & under 25 @ 23-35 through towns, made it back to Hayden checked oil after sitting & checked level ! drove 10 more miles to home, started later pressure seemed ok just over 50 @ idle, oil level a little over but i might not have waited long enough before adding.
last Sat. i drove same mileage with no problem. but i did change to Ams oil V-Rod with the zinc ect was using their Premium syn before with no problems ever!
any suggestions with where to start trouble shooting ??? Maybe Mr. Peabody !!
for starters maybe switch back to premium !! ?
thanks for any help
Mike

I don't see the problem. But it seems that you're concerned with a change (reduction) in oil pressure. The numbers aren't bad however.

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.
