Saw one today at the swap meet. It was on top of a trailer priced at $1500. You don't see these every day. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I never cared for it's sweeping body style and huge 5 mph bumpers.

My son bought a '75 about a month ago while stationed out in Oceanside CA. Looks to be in pretty good shape too. He only paid $400 for it.

The ugliest ones had fender skirts. Luckily they are easily removed and thrown in the garbage.

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.

I had a 75 Lemans. Loved that car. Nice highway ride and a nice round town rat racer too. Loved it!

Missed your 5 MPH bumper question, but I believe the car companies convinced the EPA if they could get NHSTA to drop the 5 MPH Bumper they could get an additional 3/4 per gallon, thus forestalling Global warming.

According to NASA it must have worked because their DATA shows there's been no Global temp increases in the last 17 years, but they again NASA is a right wing cabal of climate deniers with no science background, or at least not as strong as Ted Danson's or Cleo deClapia.

Of course tap someone in the front end now and its a $2000 repair.

There is a 75 grand lemans around me for sale for $3200. It has a 350 and th350. Red in color with original rims. When I see the car I imagine it jacked up in the back with big tires.

I really liked my 75 sport coupe (with the small 1/4 glass). But it got me in trouble so many times doing burn-outs.. Was a huge mistake letting it go.

There was one Pontiac which shared the 75 LeMans body style that I liked and it was the Grand Am. As I recall it had a different front end than the LeMans. I have no idea how rare the Grand Ams are but I have never seen one at a swap meet.

How about that, the Laguna is the same body style as the Grand Am just a different front end. I never realized that about the Laguna. I've been a Pontiac guy since 73 with my Firebird. What a fun car that was I should have never traded it for a 79 Firebird. bt

I much prefer the hold over from 68-72 coke bottle lines of the lemans over the more flat panel chevelle.
