Hello All, has anyone noticed that it seems much more difficult to find spray cans of the early light blue/silver metallic engine paint? I was curious if anyone has tried the OER Classic Blend #OER-K89200?
While at the Trans-Am Nationals is Dayton, I saw many engines painted in what I thought was an off-match hideous blue, and I don't want that.
I am not finding any color samples of the OER-K89200, so thought I'd check with you all. Thanks in advance!
Patrick

The reason why there's no color image of the paint is that browsers and monitors are not the same and may not present the true color of the paint.

I have not used the OER K89200, so I'm not much help on the color. However, I can tell you what paint is on my block, heads and intake.

Hi-Tech Engine Paint, manufactured by Seymour of Sycamore, Inc., 917 Crosby Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178. Phone: 1-800-435-4482 ("The inventor of Aerosol Spray Paint")

EN-65 PONTIAC (late model) BLUE.

This is not the metallic blue found on cars of the late '60s.

Here is a taste of the color--look through the wheel well. Is that the color you're after?

Thanks Bill,
That is the newer blue, but not what I am looking for. I'm going to buy a can to see what it looks like. I was just hoping to get a glowing recommendation for it first so I could purchase 2-3 to save on shipping, but not a biggie-
Thanks!
