I can not run tail pipes on my 75 TA. I currently have 3 chamber Flow masters on the car. They are crazy loud without tail pipes and they resonate in the car. I know it will never be stock quite, but a little less than the flow masters and no resonance. I make 640 hp so I need a free flowing muffler. I also need great sound. Borla, Magna Flow or Dyno max.Who sounds the best?

I running the 2.5 dynomax turbo. they sound good but without tail pipes they still drone or resonate at cruising RPM's. You might try some turn outs in front of the rear wheels if space permits.

Think I will give magna flow a try. I was looking t Borla's but they are 4" shorter so I assume a little louder.

I had cherry bombs stoping under the rear seat with 40 degree turn downs, dam thing would drone bad between1100-2000 rpm when crushing
I read Jim hands muffler shoot out test and used the dynomax that won the test,it still sounds good but now drone is only small amount right at 1100-1200 rpm.

455 rebel, any pics of that wild AMC?

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.

Im considering glass packs plus a bullet type muffler with the exit angled back but in front of the rear wheel on my 69 gto.

Wow, old thread! I'm going to try this in my tailpipes on my 56 to quiet her up even more. She has some kind of 2.5" turbo mufflers (dual with H) right now.
