I'm cleaning up my floor pans and getting ready to apply paint. Should I paint first before I apply the seam sealer ? Or apply the seam sealer first ? Does it make any difference ?

I've read it done many ways, but the tubes i had (self leveling and stiff) said to primer, then seam sealer, then scuff then paint.

I looked up some videos and various instructions on how or when to apply the sealer. Your right about the many ways. It looks like the restorers like to coat the metal with something, apply the sealer, then paint or coat a second time.
