I now have true dual ex, w/4000 series flow masters on a 76 pont. 350 /q/jet/2157 E/B cam /6x4 heads / I'm not ready ($) to start trying to put headers on right now but it was suggested that an x pipe might add a bit more performance . Any info on this ? Thanks!!! I'm sure that bolts will break on the manifold while removing them and I'm not ready to spend xtra $' to remove heads and drill bolts out .If I take these heads off for any reason I'll want to replace them with better ones ( MORE COMPRESSION )

cylinder heads in the 72-75cc range should give it some POP. 1967 and newer. Small valve heads would work OK on a 350.

Regarding the x-pipe, I believe you are talking, with your setup, maybe a .1 drop in a quarter. I could be wrong but a 10th of a second or less gain is not worth it. I doubt you would even feel it. Anyone else?

It's a coin toss if headers and x pipe will improve your combo's ET.

The cam may give modest power gain but probably wont increase rpm range.

so nobody thinks that an x-pipe actually improves scavenging?

I agree with Brian...maybe a 1/10th savings in your setup. I installed an h-pipe on my old 400 setup and saved 0.050 seconds. X-pipe should give a little more.

It will for sure help with scavenging. I have an x-pipe in my car now.

It will change the exhaust note tone a bit.
