My 5 year old son went with me to a show a few weeks back. I was surprised that my son Matt lasted there from 8AM to 4 PM. He didn't complain once. It didn't hurt that he kept winning gifts from the raffle table to keep his interest. After the trophies were handed out I went back to the car to find this scene.
He won a Jegs hat,a 12 piece screwdriver set,an 8' wide Edelbrock banner,as well as a lot of other small things to keep his interest.

Nice story. Something for both of you to remember for years to come.

That was a long day for the little guy. Winning stuff probably helped keep his spirits going as you said. But my guess, he's really a "car guy" just shorter and younger than you Drake. Some day, he'll say, "hey Dad, can I drive the car to the show?" That will be memorable too.
