Reducers are on their way, now another question, MUFFLERS??? I have always liked glass packs, but ive never had a X pipe in an exaust system, so im at a loss as to what mufflers to get. Anyone have preferances and why please?
Many thanks,
Paul

Obnoxious? No, just good performance without too much restriction, with a good sound. I would like it to be tolerable while im behind the wheel.

I've decided on a pair if these. A stock STYLE muffler with good flow numbers. They are more substantial than a coffee can with a baffle.

B&P they sound really good. And the air flow numbers are good enough for what the T/A has, Thanks.

I have a set of Hooker Aerochambers that will be going on my car. I don't have an X pipe though. From all the youtube video clips I've watched it seems like they'll sound really good.

I did end up with some drone in a narrow rpm range with the short Dynomax turbo's above. 18 to 1900 rpm's on my application. Sound at cruising speed is mellow and low enough for normal radio operation and conversation. Over all I'm pleased.

Dynomax 17749.
Recommended by Jim Hand. Big. quiet. Great tone.

And Blued, that drone could be due to the last section of exhaust pipe. If your mufflers are in front of the axle then there will be a 5' section of pipe from the muffler to the bumper. This pipe will act as a "pipe organ" or "giant whistle". Cut those short and exit behind your tires. Drone be gone!
