Hello everybody. On my Formula I'm thinking of going with the Pypes 2.5 x pipe setup with the Violator mufflers. Have any of you run this or do you prefer Flowmasters? I heard the setup on a Judge on YouTube & was hooked immediately

I have had flowmasters on a few vehicles over the years and still have on the 72 Formula. I don't like the "tinny" sound and they have weird db changes throughout the RPM range. Also, I don't like my Pontiacs sounding like a 5.0 Mustang. Btw, a 5.0 Mustang (IMHO) is the only vehicle I think Blowmasters sound good on for some reason.

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.

I'm going to take some measurments and see if i can fit the dynomax turbo's, 17749 under my f body. Suposed to have good flow numbers and are relativly quiet. 20 inch body.

make sure you get the violators and not the street pro mufflers...with the x-pipe system it mellows the exhaust out...i have the street pros now and wish i would have gotten the violators...
