How do You keep those pesky Header bolts from coming loose? do the locking header bolts You see in the Jegs catalog work well on a Pontiac 455?

My header bolts came with some snowflake looking lock washers. IMO the key is to re-torque after 1 or 2 heat cycles. again after a weak of driving. again after a month. Then it might become a habit. I would think there would be some fold over sheet metal locks like factory on the market but i have not seen any from the header manufacture. Or those locks as seen on school bus wheels that cannot back off.
Just Thinking Out Loud, if you fabricated a bracket to bolt from the trans tail stock to the collector it would eliminate alot of vibration and reduce stress on the header flange.
An Old Timer Muffler Guy told me, "always have an exhaust hanger in front of, and after the muffler as well as the tail pipe for support". FWIW.
