As I got older, the flair of a demo derby went away. Oh the cars we've seen get destroyed over the years. Chrysler 300's, big Pontiacs with 455's, oh it pains me now. looking at this grand Prix kinda hurts because a 71' GP was my very first car which I bought from my sister when I was 15. This one looks to be in similar condition, albeit the destroyed body panels. Sorry, just thinking out loud.

Its ok B&P, the Chevy motor belongs in a demo derby. However the GP does not.

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.

Did you see those rust holes and busted bondo. not much left even for a parts car. I need to check out the scout in the background.

I just never "got" the whole Demo Derby thing. A friend I mine did it for awhile and he'd spend so much time prepping a car (usually a Cordoba or similar) only to destroy it in short order. Not my bag and with parts for certain older cars scarcer and scarcer, There are plenty of newer barges around (early-mid 80's GM full size etc) that are ripe for the derby "mentality" crowd.
