Some pics from the show this last weekend, all with phone, sorry. Mostly pontiac with some mopar and others sprinkled in. i think about 5000 cars this year, which is down a bit from years past. It was 114 this weekend, so i understand a lot of guys not coming out. It's a good show with muscle car, resto mods, hot rods, classic original cars, trucks, rat rods, whatever you're into, it's there.

Usually just parking by these guys makes me so humble, you can eat off of most of the cars, even the rat rods are overdone! But i felt i did a good enough job to blend in decent enough. Some of the pontiacs were kind of butchered (no backdrive linkage, bad headers, edelbrock carb, terrible underhood condition, terrible interior upgrades or totally beat factory interior) but you still see guys asking 30k! The one lemans for sale with factory AC was like 28.8 i think, if i recall right. Prices are crazy at goodguys events. But, if you have cash, you can buy just about any kind of car you're looking for.

I've found it by different names, it connects to the tranny so that when you put the stick in reverse, it rotates the collar on the steering column so that you can get the key out. Basically, the you shouldn't be able to get the key out of the car unless it's in reverse (guessing park on automatic cars). Also i believe it runs the neutral safety switch? Usually tossed out with other things to get headers in the car.

That's for an olds, but it's mostly the same except for the 4.037 bracket. Ours pivots off of a stud for the front most tranny lever.

If you don't have it, i got mine from inline tube, they make the whole kit or just pieces you're missing, and the heat shields too. Was pretty easy to install.

TTT

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.
