I've been having good luck with the MotoRad Thermostats made in Israel that are available from Autozone. I had some trouble a while back with both a Robertshaw and a Stant that appeared to be made in China, at least according to the boxes.

Also, I am not hearing anything whatsoever good about the Mr. Gasket thermostats.

Any feedback on thermostats????

Every Chinese one we have used had to come back out. Starting about two years ago the decision was made that if it said China on it, it gets sent back, period.

It's the stuff you learn after you know it all that's important

Mike,

That's pretty much the consensus here too. I was glad to find the Made In Israel MotoRods at Autozone...Robert

X3, but I recommend paying a little extra for the kosher version as its blessed by a Rabbi and comes with a Yamaka.

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.
