How about custom designs for a slightly higher price?

Example, with our PSP name and rank in the front, just under the PSP name or logo. Then the Slogan printed across the back! I think a regular T-shirt would be fine, but maybe that too could be part of the "custom" option, where the "customer" could select between regular T or collared shirt.

Likely not practical, but the idea just struck me...

As far as color, I'd say stick with what is familiar with the site... White shirt, with Red and Black lettering/logos. maybe throw in a little royal blue?

2 cents...

White? Anything white gets trashed by me the first time I wear it. I like the pre dingy look of the current shirts.

No selection yet on the slogan. I was hoping to get some additional people involved other than the usual "suspects." Whatever is done, the minimum order is two dozen shirts. In the past, I broke them up into different sizes and found that nobody wanted anything smaller than a larger. Most wanted XL and some stout guys needed XXL or larger. So, I will probably go for the larger sizes next time. To help me out here, as I don't need a bunch of leftovers that none of us in my family can wear, I'll get pre-orders. Once I get the number and size, I'll be able to visit the shop and have them made up. I'll have a good idea then on the cost per shirt. We can payment out via Paypal. I'm not going to put them in the PSP STORE, unless there's tremendous desire for more of them.

Speaking of leftovers--I have one Tomahawk single plane intake left to sell. It's new. I have my polished one which looks nice and I've massaged the plenum and ports for an eventual tryout on the TA. Now that Cliff has calibrated the Q-jet and I fabricated a spacer for the unit, it's just a matter of time before that happens. The other unit I speak of is a standard aluminum unit and I'm thinking of doing a raffle of sorts to move it out of my garage. If a dozen "players" donate $20 a piece, the winner selected by my wife (wholly disinterested person) gets it. I'd have to have 20 players to do it though. It's not much of a risk--not at $20. More to come on that...let me know if your interested? This is kind like the last lonely Christmas tree on the lot.

X2 on the Tomahawk raffle.

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.

I'm going to need XXL. If you do different types of shirts like T's,and golf or polos, I'll take one of each kind.
I'm in for the Tomahawk raffle too.

Okay, I've been in contact with my T-shirt company and they can do shirts for me.

Which slogan?

After weeks ... the winner is

PONTIAC
Still Alive, Still Kickin'

Screen printing requires a minimum order of 36 tees.

I'm going to the company today to get some estimates from them on cost per shirt.

Ist version:
White or Gray Gildan T-shirt:

Print only on the back:

PONTIAC (Red lettering with black shadow)
Still Alive (black)
Still Kicking (black)

Cost for S-XL $7.25 +1.50 for XXL, $+3.00 for XXXL plus 6 % sales tax
Cost for S-XL $8.25 extra as above for larger sizes
===================
2nd version:
Print on front and rear of shirt (same both sides)

PONTIAC (Red lettering with black shadow)
Still Alive (black)
Still Kicking (black)

Cost for S-XL $9.10 in White
Cost for S-XL $10.10 in Ash
====================

3rd version:

embroidery on left breast: PONTIAC Street Performance (Red PONTIAC/ Black Street Performance
embroidery on right sleeve: TORQUE POWER (black)
Screen Printing on back: PONTIAC (Red with black shadow)
Still Alive (black)
Still Kicking (black)

ASH: S-XL $13.80 a copy plus 6% sales tax
White: S-XL $12.80 a copy plus tax above
===================

These shirts are all crew neck tees.

The total purchase order must be for 36 shirts of one version only.

My personal preference is version 3. It's also the most expensive. Its the classiest too.

Sales tax is not included so add 6% on all items.

There will be another $3-4 added for mailing these out to everyone.

======
I need to provide them 1/2 up front and balance at pickup. The 3rd version cost will be $497 plus 6% sales tax or $526. ($14.61 a copy S-XL)

I'll need to get 24 advance orders on one version before I go to have them done.

If the 3rd version is ok--put your order in now. Figure $20 total per shirt with tax for S-XL sized shirts. That should cover everything.

Specify the number of shirts you want and the sizes as well as white or ash. Paypal is available. Let me know. I'm ready to move on it.

Bill

Drake you're the 2nd to reply since posting the winning slogan and the cost of the proposed shirts. I don't want to receive money from anyone until we have enough wanting them. This may take awhile. There wasn't hardly any activity on the board this past weekend so let's just see how things go this week. I'm making a list and will note the quantity and size for each Pontiac enthusiast.

Let me see what I can come up with:

Pontiac---It's what just passed you!

Pontiac---The arrow that killed the pony & stopped the heartbeat!

Pontiac---A city in Michigan! (couldn't help myself on that one)

Pontiac---If I give you a 60 second headstart, will you race me?

That's it for me, my creativity is gone for the night.
