Ok... I am new to rebuilding motors and my 15 yr-old son and I are putting the motor back together on his project. The '68 350 block seems to have stock heads, but the two different gaskets that came with it don't cover or account for the upper hole in the middle of the head. It appears to be a rectangle cooling hole above the intake hole. The actual intake doesn't match up with it either. Any ideas... I'll try to post pix also. It was a project in progress and we are looking for any help.

Thanks,
Don

The Fel-Pro intake gasket set, # 1233, will cover that hole.

Thanks Bill. Another question... the intake appears to be a '75 Pontiac (after some decoding), and it only covers half of the previously described hole. Do I need a different intake for this '68 motor and heads?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks,
Don
