What a great web site! My name is Jim Walton and I am a transplanted southern cal car nut who now lives in Salem, Oregon. I am currently restoring a 1965 Pontiac Lemans with a 400 Pontiac Motor.I hope to have it completed by this summer. I just received Jim Hands book on How to build a Pontiac V-8. I basically know what i want to build but I want to find a machine shop in the Northwest that knows what they are doing!I have had Chevys for years but the Pontiac is a different animal. I will be posting from time to time to use all the expertise thats available on this web site. I just picked up a set of 6X-4 heads this morning and now I need to locate some trustworthy Pontiac experts to help me. Any recommendations would really help.

SD Performance -Dave Bishop and company

I've had no dealings with them, but little search is needed (on the pontiac boards) to find that this is a HIGHLY reputable shop, and very helpful/great to deal with.

Give them a call.
