We have A 77 T/A, can Anyone tell us how to conect a fuel return with our setup? or do we need to ad components. Right now we are running a Holley electric fuel pump, 110 gph, with an Aeromotive regulator, part #13201. The fuel tank has the fuel line, return line and vapor line on it, 3 lines total. how may we use one if not both the other 2 lines for a fuel return? The shop manual we have is a Chilton and its not very discriptive on our cars fuel system.

Should just need one line for the return (usually 1/4"). I'd set the return line up somewhere right at or right before the regulator...
Shouldn't be too complicated I imagine... I need to do this on my 72 Lemans. I'm going to be using a mechanical pump that has a return line outlet on it though, so won't need to connect into the main fuel line.
Hope that Helps.

I've read anywhere from 1/4-in to the same or next size larger than the feed line. In hydraulic systems the return line is always larger than the pressure side. Not sure if that applies to fuel supply but food for thought. (and no, I don't know the reasoning behind it) |

I like to keep the return at least the same size as the feed with an electric pump. It helps the regulator to work properly under all conditions.

Should be on on the regulator. Most have extra ports for returns and gauges, otherwise you have to put one on the outlet side and tee it in

1/4 inch will work fine. You can reg it or you can use a AN fitting with a Holley main jet in it.
