Hey Guys,

I'm gettin to the point where I need to start ordering the parts to finish my street 467, 6X heads(ported), solid roller cam/valvetrain build. I'm looking for advice and reminders to avoid buying anything sub-par, and to make sure I aint missing something.

PART RECOMENDATIONS WELCOME AND APPRECIATED!!!

I'd like to put a 6 quart oil pan on it.
Oil Pump, higher volume pump necessary?

Fuel pump, is a higher volume fuel pump necessary?

Water pump... recomendations?

Ignition system, Planning on going with an MSD kit.

Harmonic Balancer -neutral balanced... suggestions? (engine is internal balance)

Flywheel -neutral balance... suggestions?

Timing chain/gears... comp cams double roller?

Rear Main Seal... Viton?

Head Gasket... Suggestions?

Starter, thinkin of going with the ROBBMC starter...?

I reckon I'm probably missing something.

Thanks for the help!

Harmonic Balancer -neutral balanced... suggestions? (engine is internal balance)Any factory unit in good shape. There are aftermarket units available but they are $$$$.

Flywheel -neutral balance... suggestions?..Auto?Factory.Stick?McLeod

Timing chain/gears... comp cams double roller?...Cloyes

Rear Main Seal... Viton?...yes

Head Gasket... Suggestions?

Starter, thinkin of going with the ROBBMC starter...?...Again McLeod.

I reckon I'm probably missing something.

Thanks for the help!

Matt--

Stock water pump will suffice for street-strip action.

Stock damper will also suffice. (new)

Cloyes true roller/ Comp/ Edelbrock all will work fine.

Gaskets: Fel Pro--everywhere.

Assembly lube for bearings, mains and rods (red stuff)
