Yesterday I received a notification that my subscription to Car Craft, which I've had for decades, is over. The magazine will no longer be published, nor will there be an online only version of it. The same thing happened to High Performance Pontiac magazine several years back. Instead, the publisher is offering online access to Motor Trend, Hot Rod, Diesel Brothers and something else that I have no interest in.

The bizarre thing for me is that while perusing my latest Car Craft magazine, I realized the auto hobby had moved on from the old iron power makers associated with the '60s and '70s to modern power makers of today. The focus of the magazine changed and I was no longer apart of what was being presented, I thought. However, none of what I thought really matters as the magazine is history.

"Dedicated to keeping the classic Pontiac engine alive."

400 bored +.030, forged TRW pistons, ported 62 heads, Hedman headers, 2.5 SS dual exhaust X Pypes, Comp 276AH10 cam, Scorpion 1.65 RR, 850 Q-jet, stock intake & tuned HEI; original owner.
