The routing of under the hood vacuum lines for my 400 MT 4 barrel has been difficult to figure out after searching for hours on the internet. Each year from 1968 to 1972 all seem to route in unique ways. I have both a 5 port and 3 port Thermostatic Vacuum switch . As far as I can tell, I only use the 3 port side of the 5 port switch. (Or I guess I could use the 3 port bought on-line) The top line of the remaining ports I think may run to the distributer advance through a TVS valve? The middle line may run to the back of carburetor vacuum source and the bottom line may run to a intake manifold port? Since I did not have this motor intact when I bought the car nor do I have pictures---Can't decide if I'm right. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

There is nothing different about the manual trans that I know of in 71. 455HO was on its own. This lists most years. Jay
