Looking for some help, I finally made it out of the darkness with my engine build, now down to the th350 to 2004r conversion. My question is this...

How do I modify my Quadrajet to achieve the proper TV pull for my trans?

I see that I can get parts from other quadrajets and weld them on etc. Anyone know of a cleaner simpler way? Or atleast what year/model to rob parts from? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I like monster transmission for their diagrams on setting the linkage up. Their spring loaded tv corrector is pretty slick if you do not have the linkage perfect at wot it will keep the cable from stretching. I believe the only part you can not buy is the carb linkage on the throttle for the qjet. But you can buy the tv cable mount. 80s gm 5.7 engine in a pickup would be my choice for a carb set up with the tv cable. I think summit and jet have some reman carbs with the tv bracket already on. But just buying the throttle tv bracket for a holley and making a small adapter plate, or like you say weld it on will work fine to.

Cliff Ruggles book on overdrives would be a worthy read before you get too far into your project.
