Journalism is terribly slanted shooting for outlandish and misleading headlines. Substantive and accurate information within the articles is typically exaggeration and more often than not outlandish.

Articles appearing in Yahoo.com fall into this category. It's all becoming crap.

I rarely just "surf" the internet anymore for this very reason. Yahoo is especially bad. I treat the internet the same way I have always treated department stores and shopping malls. I know what I want before I even go in. If I can't find it I leave. If a person spends too much time in either place just browsing around, they'll be persuaded to buy or buy into something they normally wouldn't have.

I have a few "news" websites I frequent to get daily news, I rarely watch TV news anymore, even Fox News has gotten boring, repetitive, blah, blah every evening.

I believe the correct word is "propaganda". I enjoy listening to my local Canadian stations whenever possible and they NEVER mention politics unless an election is near. Tim Hortons and Beer Stores. What a wonderful country.

I stand corrected. At least there's Tim Hortons.
