Took the car to a shop near me had them tune this thing for the first time, I mean tune it. See and hear for yourself, it's a beast now...

Rich - engine sounds good. Time to buy a set of drag radials for that spinning problem

What did they do? Significant power gains are usually found in the timing or curve.

Timing and carb adjustments, both were way off throughout the RPM range. The car ran and sounded good but had no giddy-up. So, they changed the weights in the distributor and tuned everything. The carb already has a Cliff Ruggles rebuild kit to match the car, just wasn't tuned.
