Hi, all! good to be back! (thx, Bill!)

I had never really been happy with my 455 re-build, never felt as strong as the engine that came with the T/A when I bought it, It's been burning oil, noisy, knock, etc... Tearing down now- one cam lobe is about wiped out, with a very loose rocker. Also looks like valve seals are garbage, coated with gunk. Haven't pulled heads, that's for after work. Tonight. So, in the market for a new cam and lifters- This was either an XE 274 or 284, and very noisy as per all of the prior comments. Tips on setting rockers would be appreciated as well. I know I need the details on the rockers, so I'll get those added soon.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but here is a tech for rocker adjustment.
