I am putting in a 326 in my 66 Pontiac. The bottom ac compressor bracket uses the first two head bolts on the passenger side. The head bolt kit I have doesn't account for this. Does anyone know how much longer the bolts need to be?

Not 100% sure if they were longer or not vs non-ac cars. but i would think the thickness of the bracket would be fine to go off of. Honestly, if the bracket is like 1/8-1/4 inch on a stock motor, it wouldn't phase me to just use those bolts you have in hand, they'd just be 1/8" to 1/4" less in the threads.

There is an integrated stud atop some of the factory head bolts for accessories.
Some have welded a stud atop the aftermarket head bolt/bolts.

Those head bolts are way longer. Try 2 1/2 inches! Got that same bracket on my 326.
