I bought what was suppossed to be a Pontiac HEI of trade me here in NZ. Mine has quite a worn shaft so I want to replace it. The shaft length is a lot longer so a Pontiac it is not. Any one have any ideas of what it is from so I can try and sell it on correctly.
thanks Mal

The pontiac it came out of had a chebby in it. Keep the springs, weights and center advance cam plate if they are in good shape. Not wallered out They can be turned over and used on the opposite rotation pontiac distributor.

Thanks guys. I am afraid the weights and springs etc were aftermarket junk so I am not going to get anything worthwhile out of it.
