I've had my 66 sitting in the garage in pieces for about 5 years now. Front end
is off, engine dissasembled and interior is removed. I' ve finally come to the realization
that I will not be able to do the restoration I wanted, so with that in mind, I am looking to get it back to roadworthy condition and work on it and drive it at the same time. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of the engine overhaul kits available on ebay? The last kit I purchased was from PAW and I was still in high school
oh so long ago! I have had the heads cleaned up and the valves done. The blocked
has been tanked and honed and everything still measures out stock accoding to my
machine shop. I will verify that before I order anything though. I picked up a
Borg Warner 4 speed for it so am also looking for a flywheel, bellhousing, etc.

Any suggestions as to parts suppliers?

Building a Pontiac engine, Butler Performance. Great website with everything you'll need for your build plus the tech support to backup what you buy and help you get it installed properly. Including your flywheel and bell housing.

Butler is probably one of the better business to use, Mr. P is one also.
Are u thinking on a budget or can u throw $$ to the best.

I like using Summit Racing for rebuild kits.
Good luck on your Car.
