I have a '75 Trans Am and just replaced my round head lights to halogens. Everything was plug and play and they look 100% better than the originals. I can actually see the road now. I opted for a set of cheapo's just to make sure things worked and installed fine. I'll be upgrading in the future to something similar in your link. Along with that I've replaced everything with LED's which you can see with this video link.

Rich, the hallogens on your car seem more modern. how would they compare with a hallogen more classic looking, like below? I know when i upgraded my trucks lights to the below, it was a decent step up. I also use headlight relay harnesses near the front of the vehicle on anything i tear apart (just did it on my 56 chevy last week actually.)

They are basically the same with the exception of the glass. With the ones you link to and mine, there isn't any way to replace the bulb, you replace the lamp and mine were a couple dollars more expensive. I did not use relays for mine, just plugged them in.

Very nice for you especially being able to see at night.

My 71 Lemans with its 4 headlights still has the original T-3 high beams. It's possible they were replaced prior to me buying the car 25 years ago. I'm thinking that's unlikely since the high beams are so rarely used that even if they haven't burned out since I've owned them that they wouldn't have before that.

Even more fun is they survived two front end collisions that required a new bumper and a new header panel. note: I didn't crash, my girlfriend did the first time and (ex) wife did the 2nd time.

Anyway, someday they will burn out and then I'll decide to upgrade to the same fancy lights you guys are using.

Just installed octane lighting led lights w the led halo ring on my 67 tempest. I changed my harness to use hi/low on all 4 lights. They are good quality lights. To my surprise! They are real glass and metal backs. The leds are a little hard to get adjusted at first because they are such a different type of light but once you figure out howthey project the light wow what a difference. Octane doesn't have the ones with the h4 led bulb on their website but they do on their ebay store. Oh and they are DOT SAE stamped rton the glass. Hard to find ones that are DOT!

Now we know why you suggested "lose the wife" over in another topic. Lmao! I will agree though that some of those women folk sure know how to wreck a guys train. (And their Pontiacs too apparently, haha)
