Talked to Holley today and they recommended using a 1/2" square bore spacer on stock 66 intake to accommodate larger goggle valve. Does anyone see an issue with this? Would this be an improvement or have a negative effect? Thanks

I think it'd be a minor effect you wouldn't notice, maybe make the carb feel a little bigger since the spacer would let all cylinders "see" all of the carb?

Isn't the "google valve" what Demon is calling the air valve for the secondaries?

Bowties are for Pee-wee Herman. "Chevy": even the name sounds cheap, but not as cheap as your Pontiac will be with an LS transplant.

Also what do I do with the 2 heat tubes that come from old intake? Can they be capped? or is there a better option.

You mean for the choke? Need a block off plate or something for it.

Yep for the choke. The tubes come right out of the intake are they just pressed in? I dont see a way to do block off plate this area is not flat. I dont want it to look like something was just rigged up.
Thanks

Is it like the one below with the two tubes on the flange? And the two tubes loop down into the exhaust and back up? If so, i'd find a way to plug them. If they're the kind where they're mounted on a plate and the intake warms them with no exposure to the exhaust, like the tri power manifolds, i'd just remove everything and leave the "dip" in the intake.
