My wife is in D.C.,Virginia this weekend to visit Arlington Cemetery. Her nephew Jacob Meinert USMC was KIA in Afghanistan in 2010. I wanted to go too,but Jacob's mom just wanted my wife there.
My step son Johnny was so moved at Jacob's funeral that he vowed to become a Marine. He'll have his 4 years in this summer.
My son Drake is right behind,he graduated USMC bootcamp this last February.
"Do you run from the fire,or run to it?"

RIP Jacob

Drake I've been to many military funerals, most of them were held at Arlington. To all of our fallen soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen and coast guardsmen...God bless all of you for your courage and patriotic service to our country. Remember them...never forget.
